Codename Golden,
Event Planning/Event Services

This is a quick
story
Golden Episkopiko Hall, or Golden for short, are stationed in Ioannina, Greece. They plan events for weddings and private meetings. They emailed us asking for a new fresh look, they had gotten tired with the previous colors, which were brown and yellow, and they wanted something fresh, something serious, something that could draw peoples attention, to mostly the gallery part. Good thing for the visitor that is looking to book an event, is that there is not alot of humbug text on the site. We used that to our advantage and created a new color scheme, with different shades of red and brown. Enough talking, head over to their site and have a looksy.
We made a website
for Eric Amarillo

It went a little something
like this
Eric Amarillo is a popular artist on the Swedish music scene; few Swedes could've missed his current hit "Om sanningen ska fram" which is being played all over the radio and in the clubs. He contacted us and wanted a redesign of his current homepage. We quickly designed a site for him, wrote the code and launched it within a couple days. We also set up seperate stylesheets for mobile devices and made sure that everything had a uniform design. The site contains a script that detects what kind of device the visitor is using and adjusts the content accordingly. Click here to open his site in a new tab.
What does Mr. Amarillo think?
"Eat Old Glue is a very competent, newly started web agency with a really good sense of what is "right". They made my site very quickly since I was in a hurry to update my old site. Thank you Eat Old Glue for helping me get such a nice design with such short notice!
In addition to this, they also have a unique competence to make websites that look good on smartphones as well!"

Design on the go,
our own mobile website

This is how we thought
about it
We have all surfed the internet while walking around town, getting on the tube, waiting for the bus, and so on. At some point all of us have either walked slower or stopped walking completely just to read a small text, or to click on a small link that we are forced to pinch and zoom in up to 5x the original screen to even get our fingers on that link. Apple stated that the average button should be 44x44, well what happens if you make them larger? Add colors, shades, but yet keep a minimalistic feel to it? The answer is? Our mobile site. While designing our mobile version, we thought about every single little detail. From the colors, to the shading, to the buttons and the placement. We want you readers out there to get a feel for our site within seconds, and to remember the site map as good as you know the back of your hand. No more pausing for a couple of seconds, no more pinching and dragging the screen around. Everything just works, and you can sit back and just admire the design. We want people to understand that every single person out there that has a website has a mobile site and they just do not know about it. A large percentage of users use their smartphones to surf, chat, log on to different social networks and have fun while doing it. If you would love to know more about what we can do for you head over to our contact page and let us know, we will be glad to answer any questions you might have regarding our services.
We love simplicity,
and we are not going to hide it

Behind our own design
Less is more. That sentence means alot to us. We want to show our clients that a design can be unique by simplicity. For our own site, we wanted "wow" the viewer with what we do and not with a website that has bells and whistles, and still serves the same purpose. We used a three page system that has basically a about page, a work page and a contact page. Typography is a favorite among us. A soft background is used to be able to "pull" the design of screen and to get that high contrast image that pops out and catches your attention. This doesnt mean that you get the same design for all of our projects, and we will prove it. Enjoy the real website, and dont forget to hit that contact page for all of your design needs.
